    Terms & Conditions

    Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the iDroptaxi taxi booking service. By booking a ride with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.

    1. Definitions

    • "Company," "We," "Us," "Our" refers to iDroptaxi.
    • "Customer," "You," "Your" refers to the person booking the taxi service.
    • "Driver" refers to the taxi driver assigned for your trip.
    • "Service" refers to the taxi booking and transportation services provided.
    • "Vehicle" refers to the taxi assigned for your trip.

    2. Booking & Reservation

    • Bookings can be made through our website, phone, or WhatsApp.
    • All bookings are subject to vehicle availability.
    • Confirmation of booking constitutes acceptance of these terms.
    • Accurate pickup location, contact details, and travel information must be provided.
    • We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.

    3. Pricing & Payment

    • Fares are calculated based on distance traveled and vehicle type selected.
    • Minimum distance charges apply: 130 km for one-way trips, 250 km per day for round trips.
    • Driver allowance (bata) of ₹400 per day is applicable.
    • Toll fees, parking charges, and inter-state permits are extra and payable directly by the customer.
    • Payment is due at the completion of the trip unless otherwise agreed.
    • We accept Cash, UPI, and bank transfers.
    • Prices are subject to change without prior notice for future bookings.

    4. Customer Responsibilities

    • Be present at the pickup location at the scheduled time.
    • Carry valid identification documents as required by law.
    • Treat the driver and vehicle with respect.
    • Do not smoke, consume alcohol, or carry illegal substances in the vehicle.
    • Do not carry hazardous, flammable, or illegal materials.
    • Ensure all passengers wear seatbelts during the journey.
    • Any damage caused to the vehicle by the customer will be charged accordingly.
    • Inform us of any delays or changes to your travel plans as soon as possible.

    5. Driver & Vehicle

    • We assign professionally trained, verified drivers for all trips.
    • All vehicles are regularly maintained and insured.
    • The driver has the right to refuse service if the customer is abusive, intoxicated, or violates these terms.
    • The driver may refuse to take routes that are unsafe or illegal.
    • Route selection is at the driver's discretion based on traffic and road conditions.
    • Specific driver or vehicle requests are subject to availability.

    6. Waiting Charges

    • 30 minutes of free waiting time is provided for airport pickups.
    • 15 minutes of free waiting time for other pickups.
    • Additional waiting time is charged at ₹100 per hour.
    • Extended waiting during the trip (shopping, sightseeing) will be charged accordingly.

    7. Limitation of Liability

    • We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
    • We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle.
    • Our liability is limited to the fare paid for the trip.
    • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
    • Force majeure events (natural disasters, strikes, government actions) release us from liability.
    • The driver and company are not responsible for missed flights, appointments, or events due to delays beyond our control.

    8. Luggage & Belongings

    • Standard luggage allowance varies by vehicle type.
    • Excess luggage may require a larger vehicle at additional cost.
    • We are not responsible for items left behind in the vehicle.
    • Please check the vehicle before exiting to ensure you have all your belongings.

    9. Modifications to Service

    • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our service.
    • We may substitute a similar or higher category vehicle if the booked vehicle is unavailable.
    • In case of vehicle breakdown, we will arrange an alternate vehicle as soon as possible.

    10. Disputes & Complaints

    • Any complaints must be reported within 24 hours of trip completion.

    • We will investigate and respond within 7 working days.
    • Disputes shall be governed by the laws of India and subject to jurisdiction of courts in Tamil Nadu.

    11. Intellectual Property

    • All content on our website, including logos, text, and images, is our intellectual property.
    • Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.

    12. Changes to Terms

    • We reserve the right to update these terms at any time.
    • Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
    • The latest version will always be available on our website.
